Here’s an event you don’t see every day. The launch party for the 2009 Lovely Ladies on Beautiful Bicycles calendar is Friday night in Ballard.
The calendar features “real machines, real riders, real sexy.” The models are a group of local Seattle cyclists who are promoting cycling for women (and men, too) including mountain biking, polo and urban adventures. The party is at Conor Byrne at 8 p.m Friday with live music provided by Golden Robot Army. Proceeds from the raffle go to Bike Works. This is the third year for the calendar. (Photo by Sean Sweeney.)
