Snow blankets Ballard

The snow began to fall Saturday night, at first a gentle dusting, and then around 11 p.m. it was coming down in big chunks, sticking to the roadways.

In Loyal Heights, a half-inch covered the ground by midnight.

In downtown Ballard, the snow stuck to cars, but not the roads. We’ll see what the morning brings, especially with the incredibly frigid temperatures. Forecasters say we’ll see hit-and-miss snow showers through Sunday morning. Have a snow photo? Please email it to us at tips@myballard.com.
