Toys for Tots a success at Station 18

The snow and ice has made it very difficult for Toys for Tots volunteers to pick up donations at some sites around the Seattle area. But that’s not the case at Fire Station 18 on Market St., which had a tremendous outpouring of donations, filling their lobby. Volunteers were able to pick up the toys last week, before the biggest snowfall blanketed the area. Firefighters say while they had plenty of toys, very few people are bringing by canned food for the Seattle-King County Emergency Feeding program. You can learn more about that right here.
