Just a few days ago, SDOT said the weather had delayed reopening Golden Gardens Drive until mid-February. But work crews are making faster-than-expected progress, and SDOT now says the roadway will reopen in just a few weeks, in mid-January. “Crews working to finish the reconstruction of the washed out area are making significant progress and with dry weather and an accelerated approach, crews have now nearly completed this temperature and weather sensitive work,” SDOT said a new advisory to residents.
