Crews work on Burke Gilman Trail

Seattle Department of Transportation crews started a two-week project on the Burke Gilman Trail today. The stretch along the 6900 block of Seaview Avenue is being replaced with concrete because of some vegetation issues with the asphalt. Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the closure, bicyclists will be detoured to the northbound curb lane of Seaview (which will be closed to vehicles) and pedestrians will be sent across the street to the sidewalk.
