Presidents Day still means garbage day

If Monday is your normal garbage day, get your cans out there. Even though it’s Presidents Day, a Federal Holiday, garbage collection is normal. But street parking in Seattle is free, so don’t pay those meters. Metro is operating some routes on a reduced schedule. Those closed for the holiday are banks, government offices and schools. If you’re looking for something to do with your kids, most attractions like the zoo, aquarium and Museum of Flight are open.
