Sunday morning’s St. Patrick’s Day Dash will take runners and walkers over the Aurora Bridge, closing both northbound and southbound lanes from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Northbound will be closed between the Western Avenue off-ramp from the viaduct to N. 39th St. at Fremont. Traffic will be detoured off at Western Avenue. Southbound Aurora will be closed from N. 39th St. to the Broad St. off-ramp. All southbound traffic will be detoured off of Aurora at N. 39th St. (Cool photo of last year’s dash from SlightlyNorth).
Also, the Fremont Bridge will be closed from 2:30-6 a.m. Sunday so Seattle Department of Transportation crews can repair a damaged center lock.
