The weather is supposed to clear in time for the Whittier Heights neighborhood garage sale on Saturday. More than twenty families are holding garage sales from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Maps of participating homes will be at 7312 14th Ave., however we’re sure there will be more people participating than those on the map. Whittier Heights is bordered by 8th & 15th and 65th & 85th.

I've heard the area of the Tin Hat and Sneakery and TIger Tail refered to as Lower Phinney. Maybe the Barking Dog is in Whitter Depths?

Lower Phinney or Upper Ballard, it depends on who you ask. Molly McGuire's proudly states 'Ballard' on their t-shirts.
I love a garage sale, though, no matter what neighborhood it's in.

I used to live around the corner from the Barking Dog, on 7th NW. The real estate flyer advertising the house we bought there called the area “Lower Phinney.”
We just ended up telling people we lived in “Phin-Lard.”
