Tuesdays in Ballard continues

School starts soon and summer is winding down, but Tuesdays in Ballard is still in full swing. If you missed Sunday’s Wuff Da! dog show, don’t worry, there’s still canine fun to be had. Tonight at 7 p.m. All the Best Pet Care will be hosting “Project Ruffway” a pet costume contest. Laura Bee from Laura Bee Designs will be judging and handing out custom-made prizes. From discounts to massages to other events, many local businesses have fun things planned for the day. You can check out all the happenings here. (Disclosure: All the Best and Laura Bee are sponsors of MyBallard.)

  1. Romanza Gifts is Celebrating All Five Senses today from 5 to 8PM! SEE how your lip prints determine your character and energy levels with expert Lipsologist Jilly Eddy. 2. Well, I'll be there! Romanza has GREAT purses as well, for you purse lovers.
PS….did anyone notice my purse at Wuuf Da had a dog on it…carrying a purse?

  3. Romanza was one of our FABULOUS sponsors for “Wuuf Da!”…and they have a great selection of dog and cat items as well as candles, wine, furniture, glassware, PJ's, and decorative items of all descriptions. Did I mention the purses?

  4. All the Best really is the best! Earlier this summer Mud Bay was voted best place to splurge on your pet. And hey, they do have a great store. But paws down the staff at All the Best have them beat!

They also have been a great part of this community since they've opened (Tuesdays in Ballard, doggy cooling booth at Seafood Fest, and of course Wuuf da! sponsor).

I'm assuming that the “Best of” results was due to a city wide vote. Though I have been in various locations for both shops and All the Best will always get my vote.

  5. All the Best is the best because of the Purrfect Pals connection. Plus, you're right, they really jumped in with the neighborhood events.
Though much love to Bark, as well. Friendly folk there (and also a Wuff Da sponsor).

  6. Unbelievably enough, the lip print reader (whom I have never laid eyes on before) said “Pets adore you…and you are great at organizing things.” Oh really? Hahhhaahahaha. It was amazing! Plus, the Page Cellar wines were uber-delicious!
They have martini glasses that I think I must make mine.

  7. BTW, my friends and I just had dinner at Lombardi's. They have their “early bird special” for $15 on Tuesdays- all night, not just early. I had the salad, salmon (with beans and potatoes) my freinds had the soup/salad, both had lasagna, I had the mousse, they had the panacotta; it was a fantastic bargain, and the food is INCREDIBLE.

  8. I also love Bark. Sammy, the Naughtiest Dog in Ballard, loves them both. He once shoplifted so stealthily at Mud Bay (yes, I paid for it) that I'm not sure that we can go back, ever. I like Bark because it's local…and I like All the Best also because they have toys..both excellent businesses with friendly folks, both sponsors of Wuff Da. (Mud Bay did not, in fact, sponsor when asked. But you can't have everything, and it was quite last minute.)

  9. Yes! And the zebra striped martini glasses! And the gold martini glasses! Also, I am in love with the blue martini shaker with seahorses etched on it. Frankly, I love everything in there!
