The Nordic Heritage Museum is bringing nine award-winning Scandinavian films to Seattle for the first-ever Nordic Lights Film Festival. The festival kicks off this Friday at 7 p.m. with a reception and a screening of Everlasting Moments, a Swedish film nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Foreign Language Film category. (Movie trailer here.) All the sub-titled contemporary films will be shown at the SIFF Cinema at McCaw Hall throughout the weekend. On Saturday morning at 10 a.m. there is a children’s feature called “Mystery of the Wolf.” (Note: This film is subtitled.) Admission is $7 for members or $10 for non-members. Admission to the children’s feature is $8 for adults, $6 for adult members, $4 for children. A festival pass is available for $50 for Members; $60 for non-members. Tickets available here.
