Police are searching for a man who witnesses say triggered an accident on Fremont Ave. and N 39th. St. Two pedestrians were among the injured.
The driver of the car, which turns out was stolen, ran from the scene bleeding profusely from the face. Police are still searching for the man. FremontUniverse.com has the story.

its pretty simple to not run lights, recklessly speed (i don't mean the usual 5 or so over that many people are guilty of), and have some basic decency for those around you.
my sympathies for the pedestrians likely just minding their own business. such a nice day for a walk too.

yes clearly the fault of liberal progressives. In a conservative town like, say, Houston, cars are never stolen. In Houston they leave the windows down, keys in the ignition, and teenage daughters naked in the back seat w/o a problem.

We saw a similar accident near Trader Joes last week and the drivers appeared to be average citizens that made a mistake. Both drivers looked to be caucasians with insurance coverage.

Did the person who caused the accident near TJs take off on foot and disappear? Were they driving a stolen car?
I haven't seen a story that confirms the car was stolen.
If not, it should be pretty easy to track down the driver from the car registration, no?

Caucasians with insurance? They sound like hard working, responsible tax payers. They need to be taxed some more to help ease the suffering of the underprivileged.

Exactly what do you mean here by saying that the drivers who “appeared to be average citizens that [sic] made a mistake” “looked to be caucasians with insurance coverage”? Does that meant that average citizens are white? That people who have collisions that are apparently forgivable “mistakes” are white and have insurance or at least “look” like they do? Your two sentences are fraught with stereotypes that are based on some not-so-benign racism. I wish that sites that provide “news” weren't interactive because, frankly, I don't see reading beliefs like yours as necessary to any news reporting that might be valuable to the community.

Thanks for the link, which proves out the gut feeling that the accident was caused by a theif in a stolen car, which explains the flight of the theif.
This is the main reason buses should be free to ride, even for those who need a ride directly to jail, at least they'll leave our cars and bikes alone.
