KEXP’s summer fundraising drive is over (although you can still donate online), and it looks like Ballard has clinched the nonprofit radio station’s annual “Hood to Hood Challenge.” Ballard is leading the next closest neighborhood, Capitol Hill, by over $5,000. West Seattle — last year’s winner — comes in third.
As the winner, Ballard will host KEXP’s annual Hood to Hood Party next summer — a day and night packed full of live music, most of it broadcast live on KEXP.
