Poster fundraiser for Page Ahead this weekend

This weekend at Secret Garden Books (2214 NW Market St), get your hands on some very unique posters and help raise money for a local charity. The Ballard bookstore recently found nearly two decades worth of children’s book posters and have decided to sell them and raise money for Page Ahead Children’s Literacy Program (1130 NW 85th St).

Secret Garden is holding a sidewalk sale with the posters during SeafoodFest and each poster will be sold on a donation basis – the buyer can decide what they’d like to pay.

Page Ahead is a 20-year-old non-profit that serves more than 55,000 children in need each year. They provide new books for kids, literacy support for families and reading resources for communities.
