Students from St. Alphonsus Parish School has donated their first harvest from the Parish Community Garden to the Ballard Food Bank.
Last week, students, parents and teachers picked enough vegetables and herbs to fill seven medium-sized bags.
“The volunteers at the food bank were appreciative and thanked the students for their hard work and for their donation,” Jennifer Chamberlin emailed us. “A second harvest is planned for mid September after school starts.”

This kids are really amazing! I hope all children and people tolerate good and wise charity work while they are growing up. Keep it up!
