Ballard High student recognized for artistic talent

Ballard High School student Eliza Palasz is being recognized for her theatrical talent. Palasz has been named a YoungArts finalist in Musical and Spoken Theatre. She is one of 150 students chosen from more than 5,000 applicants across the country. YoungArts is the core program of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts.

Palasz will join the other finalists for artistic courses in Miami next January. If selected as a Gold or Silver winner she will qualify for more courses in New York City. Through this program, Palasz also has the chance to be named a Presidential Scholar in the Arts and visit the White House.
