Workshop planned for Large Projects Fund

The City of Seattle helps to fund projects in our community through the Neighborhood Matching Fund.

Projects such as the Adams Elementary Playground and Ballard Corners Park were funded and made possible by the NMF. Other projects include traffic circles, pedestrian planning and beautification projects. Coming up later this month, the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods will host a free workshop in Ballard to discuss the Large Projects Fund, which awards up to $100,000 for community projects. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on January 27th, neighborhood groups and community organizations are invited to learn about the funding process, community match requirements and revised 2011 guidelines.

The deadline for the Letter of Intent is Monday, February 14.
