It’s time to start thinking about spring sports – specifically baseball.
Ballard Boys & Girls Club: Registration kicks off on February 1st for the Ballard Boys & Girls Club baseball season. Teams include rookie tee-ball for preschoolers up to machine pitch ball for 4th graders. Cost is $75 which includes club membership. More information can be found here (.pdf).
Ballard Little League: Registration for Ballard Little League is now open. You can register online here or come to the registration night on January 26th at the Sunset Hill Community Club (3003 NW 65th Street) from 5:30 to 8:30. At the in-person registration you may get help with online registration, turn in medical release forms, bring copies of birth certificates and proofs of residence, get or trade shoes or a glove or volunteer to work for the league.
Northwest Seattle Little League: For those who live north of 85th and west of I-5, registration for Northwest Seattle Little League is now open to boys and girls who are at least 6 years of age as of April 30th, 2011. They are hosting a “Meet and Greet / Cleat Exchange” in the cafeteria at Whitman Middle School, 9201 15th Avenue NW on Saturday, February 5 between 9am and noon. More information can be found here.
