Empty Bowls is next week, volunteers needed

The third annual Seattle Empty Bowls fundraiser is Saturday, April 16th and organizers are looking for volunteers. The fundraiser dinner takes place this year at the Nordic Heritage Museum from 4 to 7 p.m. For a $15 suggested donation, you can buy one of the creative bowls painted by local artists and have it filled with hot soup and bread. All proceeds benefit the Ballard Food Bank.

Volunteers are needed for set-up, kitchen help and tear down starting at 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. If you’re interested in helping, email Andrea at SeattleEmptyBowls@gmail.com. High School students will receive community service hours.
