This year’s Beavers varsity boys basketball team went 16-9, finishing 2nd in the Kingco Conference and in the top 12 in the state. This is the first state tournament appearance for the Ballard High School boys since 2002.

At the recent awards banquet, the JVC, JV and varsity teams were all recognized for their accomplishments. The players were given the WIAA state certificates and pins recognizing their state tournament appearance. Seven players were also given individual awards:
Brad Baker – Captain
Nick Onstad-Hawes – Captain and Most Inspirational Award
John Christensen – Coaches Award
Juan Barco – Coaches Award
Jordan McColloch – Top Defender
Johnny Verduin – Most Improved
Salim Gloyd – Most Valuable
