A handful of traffic signals on 15th Ave NW are being upgraded this year. The changes being made by the Seattle Department of Transportation will let pedestrians know how long they have to cross the street. The new “countdown” signals will be installed at NW 58th St, NW 67th St, NW 70th St, NW 75th St and NW 80th St.

doesn’t the signal at 58th already have the count-down?
the signal at 75th already was upgraded as well.
I think this is countdowns while the white walk dude is up, not just when the red hand is up?
The countdowns don’t only benefit peds. Driver’s can also gauge whether to run that light or not.
