The annual vegetable and herb plant sale is currently underway at Ballard High School. “It is that time of year for tomatoes,” teacher and greenhouse manager India Carlson writes us.
The Ballard Greenhouse students will be selling the plants, which are all organically raised and heirloom varieties, today and tomorrow in the greenhouse on 15th Ave NW from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds fund the greenhouse program.
