The Norwegian Ladies Chorus of Seattle has awarded $4,000 in scholarships and donations to Ballard High School.

At their annual end-of-year banquet, the group presented two $2,000 August Werner Music Scholarships; one to student Molly Barnes, who is a senior hoping to get her masters in music education. The other $2,000 went to the Ballard High School Music Boosters. The Norwegian Ladies Chorus has given over $15,000 to area schools and students.
