Bicyclist walks away from collision on 8th Ave

A bicyclist walked away from a collision this morning with a vehicle. According to Detective Mark Jamieson with Seattle Police, both SPD and fire were called out just after 8:45 this morning to 8th Ave NW and NW 56th Street for a bike versus vehicle collision. Jamieson says the vehicle involved was a Nissan Sentra, but he did not have details on the incident.

Kyle Moore with Seattle Fire tells us that the bicyclist was a man in his 30’s who hit his head and sustained minor cuts and abrasions. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center as a precaution by AMR. (Thanks Michael for the tip!)
