Bernie is Director of the City’s Department of Neighborhoods. She was appointed to this post by Mayor Mike McGinn in March of this year. Previously, Bernie worked for the Department of Neighborhoods since 1989 serving as a project manager for Seattle’s well known Neighborhood Matching Fund program.
