Update: The race route isn’t being released for security reasons, but organizers are encouraging drivers to take another route.
On Sunday, Ballard will host a cheering station for those participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Race for the Cure. You can join the cheering at Mile 6, between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Leary Way between 8th Avenue N.W. and 15th Avenue N.W.
The race starts today, September 16, and ends Sunday, September 18. The three-day, 60-mile race will conclude at the Closing Ceremony on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the Memorial Stadium at 401 5th Avenue North.
