Suspected hit-and-run driver arrested in Ballard

After a hit-and-run spree in two neighborhoods, a man was arrested Saturday evening and booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Seattle Police Detective Mark Jamieson tells our news partners, The Seattle Times, that four cars in SoDo were hit around 7:40 p.m. Saturday and the driver took off. Later that evening, police were called to the 2200 block of NW 59th Street where police say the same driver hit at least four more cars. This time the suspect didn’t get very far before police caught up with him and arrested him.
