Whittier Heights boy home safe

If you live in the Whittier Heights neighborhood, you may have heard Seattle Police driving around using their PA system last evening, “If you are missing a small child, please come talk to us,” they said. According to Detective Mark Jamieson with SPD, a young boy around four-years old was found walking around the 7300 block of 13th Ave NW. “Officers drove around asking for information on the PA while other officers did research on recent calls and discovered that a similar thing happened on the 23rd in the same area,” Jamieson says. “Officers were able to contact the mother, and mother and child were reunited quickly. It appears that the child climbed out the window. He is ok.” (Thanks Misha for the tip!)
