The Gift for Life Sample Sale fundraiser, which is going on at the old Ballard Library (5711 24th Ave NW), is offering a 25 percent discount today, World AIDS Day. Just mention “World AIDS Day” at checkout to receive the discount.
The sample sale opened last month and will continue until January 8th, 2012. The hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
Organizer Diana Park hopes to raise $40,000 for the Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids (DIFFA) and Gift for Life.
