I wanted to alert you to recent mail box thefts in the area. I live at the corner of 75th and 13th next to Whittier Elementary School and someone on Thursday night took our mail from the box, tore it up and threw it in the yard of a person down the street. There also has been mutilated mail scattered about the area from other residents. I found more this morning while on a walk. The incidents are occurring on both sides of 15th Avenue but 75th st seems to be a common thread.
This isn’t just occurring on NW 75th Street. Twice in two weeks (including just this morning) we have had neighbors bring us our opened mail that was strewn about. We also live in Whittier Heights.
