Christopher William Holmerud is the first baby born at Swedish/Ballard on New Year’s Day.
The six-pound, 13-ounce baby boy was born to first-time parents Connie and Justin of Northgate at 4:34 a.m. Dr. Lisa Mohr delivered Christopher on Sunday, January first. Swedish/Ballard sent the Holmeruds home with a congratulatory newborn gift basket.
In 2011, 886 babies were born at Swedish/Ballard.
