As we wrote last week, construction on the 9th Avenue pocket park starts today. Kelly Goold, the project manager with the City of Seattle, sent construction information to the Friends of Kirke Park.
Construction hours are allowed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with high impact construction restricted to 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The contractor on Kirke Park plans to work Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. “This is a little unusual but allowed under the contract and by City Code,” Goold writes.
Here is the construction schedule:
“This is a rough schedule to give a understanding of work that will be occurring in your neighborhood,” writes Goold. “The schedule could change depending on weather conditions and unforeseen conditions.”
