The Ballard Farmers Market is officially the best large market in the state.
The Washington State Farmers Market Association has named Ballard as the Best Large Market of the Year (56+ vendors) for 2011. Market Master Judy Kirkhuff learned of the award at the WSFMA annual conference over the weekend in Leavenworth.
