Today is “Dining out for Life,” an annual fundraiser for the Lifelong AIDS Alliance in which participating restaurants, cafes and food retailers will give up to 30 percent of the day’s food and beverage sales to the organization. According to their website, “funds raised support Lifelong’s work preventing HIV and providing practical support services and advocating for those whose lives are affected by HIV and AIDS.” There is also a raffle for two round trip airline tickets from Alaska Airlines. And, diners can make an additional donation of $25 of more to receive 20 percent off a “select” group of restaurants on Tuesdays year-round.
Participating restaurants in Ballard include BalMar, Kings, Pasta Bella, Ray’s Boathouse, Red Mill Burgers, Volterra, and the Wild Mountain Cafe. For a full list, visit here.
