The long awaited opening of Kirke Park (updated info: Kirke Park is located at 7028 9th Ave NW) is just around the corner: Groundswell NW says the park will be opening in late June .
There will be a P-Patch at the new park, and Groundswell NW says there will be a meeting on Sunday, June 10 for those interested in planting. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at 6750 10th Ave NW.
There will be a grand opening party in July, and Groundswell NW is asking for volunteers to help. If interested in volunteering, contact the organization at kirkeparksea@gmail.com.
