If you’ve been thinking about adopting a feline friend, this is your golden opportunity: on Saturday, July 14, there will be a big cat adoption event at the Loyal Heights Community Center (2101 NW 77th St) from noon to 3 p.m.
There will be both cats and kittens from Seattle Animal Shelter’s foster care program and event partners Alley Cat Project. They say there are lots of kittens to choose from, but at the event, the shelter will waive adoption fees for adult cats thanks to a grant form the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation (licensing fees may still apply).
