Plaque at Bergen Place Park missing

The plaque below the mural at Bergen Place Park at 22nd Ave NW and NW Market St. is missing for the second time in two years. It was missing in March 2010, later to be found on the ground nearby.

Victoria Sangrey Hunter, volunteer coordinator for the park, contacted Officer Scott McGlashan with Seattle Police to report it stolen after noticing it was missing during a recent work party. Hunter told McGlashan she also reported it to Seattle Parks.

Hunter says she contacted Olsen Real Estate who owns the building next to the mural, and Art Olsen told her the plaque has been missing for a month.
