After many months of waiting, Kirke Park is ready for visitors. Most of the park is open, however the lawns will be fenced off until the grass has grown. Kelly Goold from Seattle Parks says the play area, picnic tables and p-patch is open for use. He says there will be a grand opening for the park on Saturday, August 11.
