If you’re interested in learning more about rain gardens and cisterns, you’re in luck: next Wednesday, August 15, is the RainWise Contractor Fair, where participants can meet professional contractors and find out about the city’s rebate program.

The City of Seattle will cover up to 100 percent of the cost of installation; over 120 residences have had fully reimbursed installations with the RainWise rebate program. The event will offer examples of the contractors’ work and sign-ups for the rebate program will be available.
The fair is at Wedgwood Elementary Playground (2720 NE 85th St) on August 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. Families are welcome, and light refreshments will be available. To learn more, click here.
