Sunday, September 30 is the annual Sustainable Ballard Festival at Ballard Commons Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event information states that, “Each year, we celebrate our successes through engaging activities, how-to workshops, community building, art, music and creativity and old -fashioned family fun.”

This year, there will be a number of green building and transportation exhibits, a music stage with cafe/lounge area, food trucks, the Undriver Licensing Station, Bikeworks Family Bike Expo, over 50 vendors, farm animals, cider making and more.
