The Seattle Audubon Society‘s Finding Urban Nature (FUN) program is seeking volunteers to help with their fall program. FUN is a program that provides, “experiential, outdoor, small-group, inquiry-based science education to Seattle Public School students,” according to the Seattle Audubon Society.

Seattle Audubon says last year, the students involved in the FUN program showed on average a 16 percent inrease in environmental science knowledge. They’re looking for volunteers who are willing to work with small groups of 3rd and 4th graders for four one-hour sessions during the month of October. No experience in necessary; all training is provided. (A background check is required.)
