Later this month, a two-time Oscar nominated makeup artist and Ballard resident, Robert Laden, will exhibit some of his original paintings and drawings at Anima Mundi (5465 Leary Ave NW). The exhibit will be up from September 28 through October 28, and the gallery is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday.
Leslie Mehren from Anima Mundi says his career spans over six decades, during which he did special effects makeup for film and TV. The exhibit will include framed drawings and personal memorabilia from well-known feature films, Mehren tells us.
