Neighborhood Matching Fund applications due soon

The deadline is fast approaching for the Neighborhood Matching Fund’s Small and Simple Projects Fund. Applications must be in by 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct 8.

The Small and Simple Projects Fund awards up to $20,000, “to support community members as they work together to build a stronger and healthier neighborhood through civic participation,” according to the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods. The funding can span from physical projects to educational, cultural, and relationship-strengthening activities. The guidelines and application are available here. Before applying, however, groups must register on the online application and fund management system here.
