The Woodland Park Zoo is offering a class called “Vets and Pets” tomorrow that will teach kids about animal health at the zoo. The class is part of the Zoo Sprouts program, and this class is on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Here’s the description from the Woodland Park Zoo:
Step into the world of animal health care and discover how we care for our sick and injured animals. In this fun class we will use imaginative play to explore what it’s like to look after our youngest residents. In addition to classroom activities we will also explore relevant areas in the zoo.
The class is offered for adults and children (3-4 year-olds). The cost is $25 per adult/child pair and $7 for each additional child. To learn more about the classes or to register, click here.
