This evening, the Seattle Youth Commission is hosting a meeting at Ballard High School for students to discuss issues facing our community and city. Rafael Regan, a senior at Ballard High School, is on the Seattle Youth Commission and tells us the meeting will cover topics such as education, environment, and transportation.
The meeting is at 5 p.m. on the first floor of Ballard High School in room S105. It will be about one hour long, and will have interactive activities with free food, Regan tells us. “This meeting is really to get a feel how the city is doing in terms of providing services for youth in Ballard specifically. We want to hear ideas from youth as well as concerns they may have,” Regan writes. “The Seattle Youth Commission will then implement ideas that are expressed at this meeting into some of the major projects we do citywide.”
