On Saturday, Jan. 26, there will be a free community emergency first aid class put on by Ballard Prepares, a committee of the Ballard District Council. The class is being funded by a grant from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Small and Simple Projects. There is room for 90 participants, and requires two online components to be completed before the in-person training on Jan. 26. The class is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will include CPR and AED training. The online training includes blood-borne pathogens training and general first aid. The first 90 people to finish the online components will be eligable for the in-person training. To participate, download, fill out, and email this Ballard Prepares enrollment form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
