King’s Hardware presents films in February: What’s that Smell? Is it, Love?

By Danielle Anthony-Goodwin

The team at King’s Hardware (5225 Ballard Ave NW) have taken Valentine’s Day into their own hands this year. In protest to the sappy, traditional Hallmark Valentine’s Day activities they have prepared a month of weekly off color romance movies for all to enjoy.

Each Monday evening in February King’s will play host to a movie, beginning at sun down on their heated and undercover back patio. The series will comprise of the following four ill fated romance movies:

  • February 4th – Natural Born Killers
  • February 11th – Harold and Maude
  • February 18th – True Romance
  • February 25th – Romeo and Juliet

Marketing Coordinator Tallulah Anderson encourages locals to “put the Saved By the Bell marathon on pause, change out of those sweatpants, and tell your cat you’ll be back in a few hours. It’s time for Monday Night Movies at King’s!”
