Bastille’s own voted hottest chef in Seattle

Bastille’s Executive Chef Jason Stoneburner has been crowned Seattle’s Hottest Chef by Eater.com. Stoneburner beat 27 chefs from the area to claim the title, narrowly defeating runner up Adrienne Chamberlain of Etta’s by about 12 votes.

The annual Seattle division of the competition, launched on Seattle’s Eater.com site, saw 27 reader nominated chefs put forward. The voting aptly took place on Valentine’s Day with chefs moving through rounds and finals to find the best looking chef in Seattle.

Stoneburner is now competing against four rivals in the “Hottest Chef” West Coast regional contest. His competition are chefs Dakota Weiss from Los Angeles, Christian Graves from San Diego, Maya Erickson from San Francisco and Pascal Sauton from Portland.

Voting closes at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning with the winner moving forward to the national competition. “Our very own has won the Seattle competition, we’d love to see him beat out Portland’s Pascal Sutton,” said Bastille General Manager James Lechner.
