Phinney Neighborhood Association (6532 Phinney Ave N) is hosting a blood drive on Monday, April 22 from 1 p.m. – 7 pm. The blood drive will be held in Classroom 5 and will be closed for one hour from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Check out more from PNA below:
Did you know that one in 10 people entering a hospital needs blood. Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion. One single donation only takes an hour and saves three lives.
The need for blood is constant and it’s up to new and veteran blood donors to give regularly to ensure there is a sustainable supply on hand for emergencies, traumas, planned surgeries, chemotherapy treatments, and more. The Blood Center will be here supporting local patients on Monday – will you please join us?
