Drivers should expect delays today as SDOT crews will be opening and closing the Ballard Bridge approximately every half hour to test the electrical systems. The testing will run until 4 p.m. and may start up again after 6 p.m after peak traffic hours.
Openings will be kept as brief as possible and openings for marine vessels will be coordinated to minimize traffic delays. Drivers planning to use the bridge should expect delays or take an alternate route.
