Construction to close parts of NW 80th St. next week

Next week, work will start to repair concrete pavement panels on NW 80th St. The Seattle Department of Transportation tells us the work will happen between 6th Ave NW and 7th Ave NW from June 18 to June 21. “Crews plan to restrict the street to one lane shared by both directions of traffic with the assistance of traffic flaggers from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.,” according to SDOT. Overnight, all westbound traffic will be detoured to NW 85th St. from 3rd Ave NW to 8th Ave NW. And, from June 25 to June 28, crews will work on the opposite side of NW 80th St and at night will detour eastbound traffic up to NW 85th St.
